Terms & Conditions

Upon signing of a rack rental agreement (including the Luxury Cabinet and Gift Box) you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions set by Sold You Twice:

 

Returns and Refunds.

  • Sold You Twice has a strict no return or exchange policy due to the nature of this retail store. We are not responsible for any faulty items that may be damaged or dirty etc
  • All sellers are responsible for stating on the price tag if the item has any faults.

 

Risk of Theft or Damage

  • As with all retail stores there is always a risk of items being stolen or damaged.

All items brought to the store are completely at the renter’s risk.

Sold You Twice take no responsibility in the case of theft, fire, water damage, robbery, damage to your items in store by customers or any other factor out of our control.

Valuable items (pending space availability) will be locked in our ‘Luxury Cabinet’ for added security.

 

Rental Conditions

  • The minimum rental period is 1 week inclusive of 7 consecutive open trading days.

For example, if you start your rental period on the Thursday of a normal week your rental period will include Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.

*However, 2 weeks rental is highly recommended to give your items exposure to more shoppers. This usually gives the best results.

The store is closed for trading every Sunday, Monday and Long Weekends. Other store closures for eg Christmas, Easter or Other will be blocked off in the booking calendar and announced on social media.

  • Bookings are made by signing up for the online booking system called Zellr accessible through our website. Alternatively you can book while instore.
  • Full payment of the rack rental must be made at the time of booking.
  • All bookings are non-refundable. However, we understand that sometimes life throws us curveballs. Under exceptional circumstances we may consider rescheduling your booking at Managements’ discretion. If a reschedule is granted, you will not be able to reschedule again.
  • If you bring in clothes that to not fit the standard and criteria outlined in the FAQ’s and the T’s & C’s you will be asked to take them home and replace them with clothes that fit the standards. Extensions will not be given for lost or wasted days and refunds will not be given if you are sent home with your unacceptable clothes.
  • If you choose to cancel your rental during your rental period, we do not give a refund for unused days.
  • All items being sold must belong to the seller. We will report suspicious items to the authorities.
  • Sold you twice reserve the right to use images of your items for promotional purposes on any of our public platforms like social media or our website.

Additionally we recommend you promote your rack on your own social media platforms to boost exposure of your items.  Get your friends and family to share the news of your rack and the great clothes you have for sale.

  • Women’s preloved, new with tags, local designers, excess or end of line stock from manufacturers all welcome. (As we are targeting the adult Women’s Clothing market, a few items of men’s and also children’s clothing size 7-14 only, is acceptable but cannot take up the majority of the rack).
  • 10% Commission charged on all rack items sold over $100
  • 20% Commission charged on all Luxury items over $150 which will be placed in the Luxury cabinet. Only authentic items will be accepted.
  • $2.50 online booking fee applicable

 

Setting up your rack

Clothing criteria:

  • PLEASE ENSURE: Clothes MUST be clean, washed, free from odour, ironed, undamaged, well presented and fashionable.

    Please DO NOT try to sell your old, out of date, worn out clothes that have been in your wardrobe for 10 years, they will not sell.

    We will NOT accept clothes that don’t fit these criteria.  Please avoid embarrassment by being asked to take your clothes home or replace them for not following these standards and requirements.

PLEASE BE REMINDED we do not give refunds on rack rentals and this includes if you have not read and followed the Terms and Conditions of rental including the above.

  • We will provide all the coat hangers and pant hangers for your items (some, however minimal child hangers are available).

These hangers are property of Sold You Twice and are not to be removed from the store.

You are not able to use your own hangers.

  • Please ensure you only fill your rack with the amount of items outlined for your rack rental.

Keeping in mind that some items that are bulky may take up extra room meaning you may not get your full amount of items on the rack without it looking overfilled.

Overfilled and cramped racks do not look tidy and make shopping difficult.

  • Sold You Twice reserve the right to remove any items overfilled, untidy or unfit for sale.
  • Where possible, please see a staff member before you leave to ensure your rack is set up to satisfaction.
  • You may fill your rack as many times as you like during your rental period as long as you stick to your rack item limit when filling.
  • Set up of your rack is on the first day or your rental. (Please check opening hours for this day)
  • You may wish to discount your rack at any point. Everyone loves a sale and it will bring attention to your rack. You cannot discount individual items, it must be the whole rack.  We will put up a sign on your rack stating the percentage of discount.
  • Any items that are found without a price tag will be removed from the shop floor and go into the ‘Missing Tag’ Tub. If you cannot find an item, please check this tub at any time during your rental. Any items not claimed after 14 days will become the property of Sold You Twice.

 

Last day of rental

  • On the last day of your rental period please ensure you come in to pack up your rack no later than 1 hour before closing time (Please check opening hours for this day)
  • Make sure every item on your rack belongs to you before packing away. Sometimes customers put items back onto the wrong rack.
  • Any items left behind will be held for 7 days. If not collected in this time they then will become the property of Sold You Twice.
  • If you are unable to pack up your rack on the last day of your rental, a $25 fee will be charged for us to do it for you and will be taken out of your total profit. Your items will then be stored for collection on the next business day. Due to a lack of storage space, every day of storage after that will be charged a fee of $10 per day until the items are collected. If they are not collected after 7 business days, the items will become the property of Sold You Twice and will be dealt with at management’s discretion. All profits (if any) will be transferred into your nominated bank account minus any storage or other fees incurred.
  • Total profits minus any commission, late fees or other will be paid into your nominated bank account within 14 days from the end of your rental period. (Profits will not be paid in cash or by any other means)
  • Please provide photo ID and bank details upon completion of your rental.

 

Charity Rack

  • At the end of your rental period you may have items you do not wish to take home. These items can be donated to our ‘Charity Rack’ (at our discretion).  Each month we will choose a different charity and donate all proceeds from the sale of the items on this rack.

 

Pricing your items (please see full instructions under the ‘Zellr Booking System’ tab)

  • Once you have set yourself up on Zellr and made your booking (booking fee applies) you can proceed to the listing and pricing of your items.
  • Here you can put a description of the item including the size and the price.
  • The system will generate a barcode for each individual item which will then scan at the register when the item is purchased. We can only sell items with barcodes generated in our system for your booking.
  • These price tags with barcodes will need to be printed (on thick paper where possible as standard paper can be quite flimsy as we don’t want your tags to fall off).

You then cut them out and attach to your items using safety pins.  If you do not have access to a printer we can print them for you in-store. Safety pins are free of charge and can be collected from the store prior to your rental commencement.  (tag ties are also available at request which are good for attaching your barcodes to shoes or bags etc)

Due to the lack of space we request you price your items at home and not in store on your setup day.
